The Leo is a battery life extender designed to protect lithium-ion batteries from premature wear, invented by startup Liion Power. Placed between any USB device, Leo intelligently modulates charging behavior, extending battery lifespan by up to 50%.

In collaboration with Pilotfish, I played an important role in steering the product design, design for manufacturing, and prototyping phases of this project. In September 2023, Leo successfully secured $230K in funding through its Kickstarter campaign.
