The VANMOOF S5/A5 drivetrain is completely redesigned: featuring smoother shifting in the integrated rear hub, enhanced durability in the electronic shifter, and a torque sensor used for smart shifting. Visual improvements include a new chain tensioner positioned in front of the chain line, ensuring a parallel chain line and simplified bike repairs. These enhancements result in a fresh aesthetic for the new-generation bikes and facilitate easier maintenance.

In my role as a Senior Industrial Designer at VANMOOF, I have played a pivotal role in refining the integrated rear hub, electronic shifter, chain cover, and chain tensioner. Furthermore, I have been involved in tuning the riding behavior in close collaboration with the firmware team.
